WOW WOW WOW!

It's the WYZ zone event now! Larger scale! Hey I'm very excited about this upcoming competition! I have smsed and called all my friends who used to go KTV with me and love singing in the bathroom..

It's time they sing to the audience and show their talents!

Audition : This Sunday 2nd Sept 2007 in Singapore Expo.
Finals : 15th Sept (Sat) @ JW Main Auditorium.

Alright, I'm here to encourage all of us to participate in this campaign. It starts this week!

Let's go all out to invite our friends to church and make them feel at home! With this week's singing audition after service, I have invited 2 friends for service as well! You may like to also invite friends who love to sing and encourage them to join the competition!

One person cannot grow a cg him/herself. However, we can do it as a team! Let's bring on the fire of being soulwinners!

Let's not give up when we're rejected. Continue to have faith in God!

Hey guys! :) You all have been greatly missed! Hope all has been well in W411.
Well, this will probably be my last entry here. Nonetheless, I just wanna clarify some confused minds and appreciate some individuals.

Well, if you've wondered "Eh? Why Shufeng not around with us in Cell Group and service har?" in the course of the past 2 or 3 weeks.. That's because Shufeng has made a transfer over to N125, Eric's adult Cell Group.

Be rest assured that the decision over has nothing to do with me feeling unloved or unappreciated for by you guys. You guys are awesome! Seriously speaking, I'll never want to leave you guys, given a selfish choice to. But like what Eric said, "You'll need to be an adult to your students in order to impact them. You can't be a youth to them." Thus, for my own betterment and that of my future students, I've decided to go over.

Having been involved with the youth congregation for all my life since I was saved, made me neglect and foresee the potential there is in the adult congregation. Somehow, they're always looked upon as the 'inactive' and 'boring' group of believers. The past 2+ weeks in N125 has completely changed my views. Fellowship and sharing was at a much deeper level, praise and worship was magnificent with His presence pouring down from heaven each time. Perhaps its got something to do with the maturity of the members. Take no offense that I'm saying youths are immature. Hey, I'm still a youth too! :p You guys can do awesome things adults can't. And now that I'm no longer in a youth CG, I wished I did more than what I did in those happy days in W295/W411. Cherish the days of your youth!

Emotions aside, let me assure you guys that my transfer into N125 has been a rather smooth one. I'm getting to know a lot of high-flying adults, people way more experienced than I am in the 'world' out there. Being the 2nd-youngest in the 'age hierarchy system'(i.e. I'm the 2nd youngest one in N125), puts me in a peculiar yet interesting position to 'look up' to everyone else and learn from them. It's a great humbling process and there's indeed A LOT to learn from their faith, beliefs, experience and life.

(Yes, I know I'm very long-winded. It's an "art" I've learnt to make my exam essays longer. Haha.. :p)

Just wanna encourage you guys to keep on keeping on. To keep believing that Yes, the CG WILL grow and multiply. Yes, many will rise to be leaders and take positions in various communities to serve God and others. It has perhaps been a tough few weeks without SX, but united as you are, I know W411 will pull through and get out of this stronger in faith and in strength.

Yup, it is a new beginning! This does not mean that the next time you guys see me, I become a one-eye monster from Venus! We're all still friends, and friends keep in contact! I'm more than willing to join you guys for fellowship, movies, birthday celebrations, etc.. So just gimme a buzz and I'll try to be there whenever I can. Oh yes, speaking about that, I've to announce that I lost my hand phone last week. Thus I'll appreciate it if you guys can drop me an SMS so I can have your contacts again.

XinYan: Thanks for being such a loving sister to me. Thanks for being so open in your sharing and generous in your praises and prayers for me. I'll never forget those days in chalet and what we shared. Your faithfulness has challenged me to want to serve Him more. You'll always be my KBox queen! :)

Michelle: Never would I imagine that we can have so much in common. Your persistence, patience and perseverance has made/will make me great. Thanks for listening me out on the phone so much, even when you're driving. Thanks for being there in the gap during those transitions periods and lending your experience to reassure me "it's gonna be alright". You're an amazing lady, a gem waiting to be discovered (by the man of your life? :p haha...)

Jing Hong: Your gentleness has made/will make me great. The simple faith you have in Christ puts to shame the complexity of mine. Thanks for being the prayer warrior of the CG. Having seen the changes in you over the years, I know for sure that God has something big installed for you as you actively choose to put Him first. Be that powerful weapon that God wants you to be! :)

Aaron: My fellow "right hand" of CG ministry. Without you, my initial integration into CHC would have been disastrous. Thanks for the many extra miles you took for me, blessing me through your acts of service. Your friendship is one that I'll definitely keep & I know for sure we'll still be playing lan games or chilling at some cool cafe together with the 'inner circle'. Your constant pursuit for upward mobility and self-improvement challenges my seemingly stagnant growth. It was with great pleasure that I served the CG with you. You've been a terrific pacer!

Daniel: You're the pistachio (开心果) of the CG! Thanks for brightening up those dull days by your bubbly personality. And of course, thanks for this CG blog, which without, I won't be able to express myself to you guys. You're an awesome brother. Keep trusting the Lord and leaning on Him for strength yea? :)

Rui Xuan: Seen you grown so much over the years. Your persistence in faith has been a source of inspiration to me. You're unique, you're different. Thanks for taking time to mail me all my 'narcissistic' photos. I've been blessed by your warm friendship.

Zong Xing: Ever since your entry into W411, I've always looked to you as an example of dynamic faith in action. Your proactive and enthusiastic personality has rubbed off the entire CG. I appreciate your honest & reflective sharing. Indeed, you are an individual who demonstrates ownership of what God has placed in your hands. Way to go, brother! :)

Marklin: Mr Drama-papa! :) Not only do you have a flare for acting, you've a gift to inspire! Use it to its fullest potential and find yourself impact lives you've never imagined. Thanks for your candid praises about how I look & how great I am. Your simple words of encouragement has helped me to keep on keeping on. Remember that little green card you wrote to me last yr at christmas? It's still in my Bible and I read it once in ahile whenever I'm feeling low to encourage myself. That's how powerful your words can be. Keep shining mann!~

To all the others: You've been great and I thank you for your friendship and acceptance. Let's continue to grow and glow for Him yea? :)

HELLO!

Let me keep you guys in our plannings too! I'll be updating constantly with the newest plans in XY's town! HAHAHAHA. crap.

Anyway, 8th August we'll be having an overnight KTV session, not as a CG, but all are invited! Probably at Cine so we can sing or zzz till 6am! You'll be entertained by all the singers! Yours truly. We shall all be the Stars that night! hahaha. Don't worry, i wont hold the mic so tightly that you wont have a chance to sing.

On 9th August, we'll have a "romantic" time watching the fireworks at Esplanade! As we'll be home super early that day.. we may not meet as early as 12pm on 9th. So you'll still be able to get enough rest and prepare for a great night squeezing with our fellow Singaporeans!

Are you guys interested in the Jay Chou's movie coming out on 8th Aug? We may want to catch the show before the fireworks? Please send in your suggestions to me!

Really hope to spend the Public Holiday as a Family Day too! =p Let's invite our loved ones to join us too! It'll definitely be a great fellowship and time spent together! We shall work together to make this CG the most happening, fun, loving, charismatic and all the good words.... CG!
